Serving as a Technology Director for 20 years in rural Southwest Virginia has provided many challenges, but makes the end results more rewarding. With a background in classroom teaching and building administration, I am also responsible for the instructional technology integration within Wise County Schools and this has afforded me the opportunity to bridge the gap between our technology and curriculum teams.  My experience over the years working with the VDOE's K-12 IT Advisory Team and serving on the VSTE Board of Directors has given me the opportunity to form working relationships with many of my colleagues across the state and those relationships have been beneficial in many ways. I am always eager to connect with colleagues, old and new, to continue discussions on advancing technology!
