Growing Up Digital – Safe Practices for Districts

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Our students live in a digitally-enhanced world both in their learning spaces and their social spaces. Kids today have only known a world in which 24/7 access to people, ideas, and information is possible with digital technologies. As parents and educators, our role is to help our students stay safe and behave responsibly in this digital world. Guiding students to understand the best ways to engage with others and ideas in a safe and ethical way is critical.

When parents and guardians are our partners, we can help our students to gain skills, understanding, and dispositions that will enable them to be responsible and safe in these digital environments. This session will explore ways to promote safe practices using a positive approach.
